In 2024 and 2025, Foundation Erwin Olaf sponsored the livestream of the Senior Pride concert in Amsterdam. The livestream is a new initiative of Senior Pride and ensured that those unable to attend in person—such as people in nursing homes or with limited mobility—could still enjoy the celebration.
Research shows that queer seniors in care facilities are sometimes confronted with bullying or exclusion. By bringing Senior Pride into these spaces through a livestream, visibility and support become tangible, reminding them—and those around them—that they are part of a proud and celebrated community.
During the concert itself, the Foundation was present to share cake and cream during the break, adding a touch of joy and togetherness to the event.
