Foundation Erwin Olaf has designed a module for MBO students in collaboration with various MBO schools in the Netherlands. The module is an extension of the existing curriculum. Students get the opportunity to work in the studio where Erwin created many of his masterpieces. They can use his equipment and are guided by Erwin’s former assistants.
The focus will be on using light, composition, positioning, and guiding models. The module will also emphasize strategy and entrepreneurship in the professional photography world. Through a short presentation, we will explain who Erwin Olaf was as an artist and activist and how he used his work as a tool for activism.
